Safety

Safety at the Central Processing Facility is a coordinated effort between the MICROFABRITECH Safety Committee, Environmental Health Safety, University Police Department, and Gainesville Fire Rescue. The safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors is a principle consideration in every activity. MICROFABRITECH has implemented all reasonable measures to maintain a safe facility while ensuring compliance with appropriate federal, state, and local regulations.

Access to the Central Processing Facility is restricted to authorized users. To become an authorized user one must be sponsored by a current Faculty Advisor, review the Central Processing Facility user's manual, and attend a one hour facility orientation session. For more information on becoming a registered user contact: Dr. Mark Davidson: (352) 846-2083 or Dr. Maggie Puga Lambers: (352) 392-7973.

It is the responsibility of all users and staff to act in a professional, courteous, and safe manner at all times while in the facility. Users violating the operating and safety rules of the facility or endangering the safety of themselves or other users will be denied further access to the facility at the sole discretion of the management.
